Ring Type Joint Gaskets
Ring type joint gaskets (RTJ gaskets) are typically manufactured to API 6A (Wellhead Equipment) – 17D (Subsea Ring Joint Gaskets) and ASME B16.20. Available from stock inventory in styles R – R Octagonal – RX – BX – in soft iron and low carbon steel plated for corrosion protection. As well as 316s to meet NACE MR-0175 specifications. Rubber coated ring joint gaskets and variety of other materials are also available. Specialized machined gaskets can also be manufactured to the end users specifications. The RTJ gasket is primarily used in high pressure high temperature flange gasket applications. They are precision machined, metallic rings that are designed to fit into a grooved chamber on a flange face.

Kammprofile Gaskets
Groove of concentric circles are processed by professional equipments which make the gasket have better sealing function than the ordinary flat metal gasket. It is especially applied to the flange pipe of high pressure and high temperature, the top cover of pressure vessel and the joint of various kinds of valves.
Our Kammprofile Gasket is Manufactured from solid metal has an added advantage i.e It provides reduced area of contact which creates low seating stress, thus, gives a better sealing.Kammprofiles are ideal for confined locations.

Metal Jacketed Gaskets
High pressure suitability and blow out resistance
- Proven sealing elements for use in apparatus construction, heat exchanger applications, pumps or valves.
- Fabricated to customer’s specification, with pass partition bars when needed.
- Graphite layers on both sides for use where the gasket sealing area is not perfect.
- Soft Iron, SS304L, SS316L and others available..
- Oval, rectangular or other shapes on request.
- The filler material gives the gasket resilience, while the metal jacket resists pressures, temperatures and corrosion.

Soft Cut Gaskets
Soft Gasket is a term used when referring to a gasket that is easily compressed under a low bolt load. Soft gaskets are used as heat exchanger gaskets, compressor and bonnet valve gaskets and in pipe flange applications etc.
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is an inert material with excellent chemical resistance, electrical and thermal insulation. They can be operated in temperatures from cryogenic to 2600°C, offering non-corrosive, non-wetting, non-contaminating and odorless operation. PTFE gaskets by Ashtapad are mainly used in the presence of aggressive chemicals such as acids, bases and solvents.
Expanded PTFE Gaskets
Offering versatility and convenience in the form of a highly conformable flexible strip is the expanded PTFE gaskets by Ashtapad that is used in non-standard flange applications. It is also a backup sealing option under non availability of conventional gaskets.
Metal Reinforced Gaskets
Various shapes are available, used in petrochemical, mining, vessels, boilers, piping and duct, pumps and valves, flanges etc.
Following are a list of gasket materials offered by Ashtapad for metal reinforced gaskets:
Metallic core materials:
- Stainless Steel Types 316L, 304, 309, 310, 317L, 321, 347, and 430.
- Inconel 600, 625, X -750.
- Incoloy 800, 825.
- Hastelloy B2, C276.
- Monel, CS, Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Titanium, Nickel 200, Alloy 20, Duplex etc.
Metal reinforced gaskets can be utilized as a part of conventional compressed fiber gasket sheets or in some cases as spiral wound gaskets.
Lens Rings
Lens Rings offer high integrity metal to metal sealing with their main usage in high pressure high temperature sealing applications. Ashtapad manufactures lens rings under DIN 2696 specifications made to suit ASME B16.5 and other modified flanges.
Lens rings have a metallic gasket design featuring spherical sealing faces to fit into flange recesses. All lens rings are made to be softer than flange grooves so that the gasket plastically deforms on compressive load rather than the flanges. Distribution of compressible loads spreads the gasket facings thereby preventing the over stressing of the gaskets.
In accordance with DIN 2696 certain specified grades of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel are used for lens rings and alternate grades upon request are also incorporated to the lens ring material.

Delta Gaskets
A delta gasket is a pressure actuated gasket used primarily on pressure vessels and valve bonnets at very high pressures in excess of 5000 PSI. As with the lens gasket, complete drawings and material specifications must be supplied.
Weld Gaskets
Weld gaskets are available in two main types
- Weld membrane gaskets.
- Weld ring gaskets.
Weld membrane gaskets
Weld membrane gaskets are manufactured at Ashtapad in accordance with DIN 2695 standard and offers two similar 0.157” (4mm) thick rings individually welded to the mating flanges.
These gaskets are of the same material as the flanges they mate for chemical, welding compatibility and controlled thermal conductivity.
Weld ring gaskets
Weld ring gaskets used in pairs come in the same material as their mating flanges for compatibility and controlled thermal conductivity.
These weld ring gaskets find their usage in limited and restricted applications where space availability is less. Weld ring gaskets offer ease of location as the weld is done on the outside of the gasket and flange.
